You can edit the email address used in Canvas to send you notifications. You can also edit your photo.
Computer
- Click on your profile picture in the top-left corner to open the Account menu
- Click “Settings”
- Click on the photo to change the photo. Use a photo that shows your face clearly and reflects the student honor code.
- Click "+ Email Address" to add an email.
- Click "Edit Settings" to be able to edit the language and time zone.
- Select the language you want to use to view Canvas.
- Select your time zone. You may need to do a web search to find the name of your time zone. Setting the time zone in Canvas is critical to seeing due dates and times relative to where you live.
- Click "Update Settings."
Mobile
You can only change your photo using the Canvas App. Changing your email, language, and time zone can be done using a web browser on a computer or mobile device.
- Click on your profile picture in the top-left corner to open the Account menu
- Tap on the photo and either take a new photo or select one from your device. Depending on your device's operating system, you may need to give the app permission to access your camera and photos. Use a photo that shows your face clearly and reflects the student honor code.
