- Tap the cell to select it.
- Tap the formula bar at the bottom of the screen to enter text. This will open the keyboard.
- This is the icon to open the number keyboard.
- This is the icon to format the cell as a date. Avoid using this today.
- Type the text or number into the formula bar. It will appear in the cell you previously selected.
- Tap the check mark icon to confirm your edits to the cell. This will remove the keyboard. Tap the formula bar again to restore the keyboard.
